SARAH MOSBY
  
(DOROTHY)  IS EXCITED TO BE PLAYING DOROTHY IN LEFT OF OZ. GROWING UP IN A SMALL FARMING COMMUNITY HERSELF, SHE HAS A SPECIAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE CHARACTER.
SARAH'S FIRST APPEARANCE ON STAGE WAS IN A PRODUCTION OF TREASURE
ISLAND AT HER HIGH SCHOOL 15 YEARS AGO AND SHE HAS BEEN ADDICTED TO
THEATRE EVER SINCE. SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE PATTERSON REPERTORY THEATER.
HAVING A PASSION FOR SINGING, SARAH HAS PERFORMED IN MUSICALS WITH THE WESTSIDE PLAYERS. MOST RECENTLY SHE APPEARED IN THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW AT MASQUERS PLAYHOUSE IN POINT RICHMOND. SARAH IS ALSO A STUDENT AT UC
BERKELEY, STUDYING THEATER & RHETORIC.


AMELIA MAE PARADISE
  (JAZMIN)  IS THE BEARDED QUEEN OF THE FEMME
FOLLIES, AND THE FOUNDER/DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER OF DIAMOND DAGGERS
BURLESQUE COMPANY
. SHE HAS GRACED SUCH STAGES AS THE GREAT AMERICAN
MUSIC HALL, BIMBO'S, THE PALACE OF FINE ARTS, THE VICTORIA THEATER,
SOMARTS, PARAMOUNT’S GREAT AMERICA, SAN FRANCISCO PRIDE MAIN STAGE,
AND THE BERKELEY REPERTORY THEATRE. AMELIA’S DIAMOND DAGGERS HEADLINED
ACROSS EUROPE FROM HELSINKI TO BERLIN, AMSTERDAM TO ZURICH.
THIS SULTRY NEW MEXICO NATIVE PERFORMS WITH UNBRIDLED, FIERY PASSION.
SHE HAS APPEARED IN EVENTS FOR YERBA BUENA CENTER FOR THE ARTS, THE
NATIONAL CENTER FOR LESBIAN RIGHTS, THE NATIONAL QUEER ARTS FESTIVAL, COUNTERPULSE, GOOD VIBRATIONS, AND JON SIMS CENTER FOR THE ARTS.
YOU MAY HAVE SEEN AMELIA MAE & SARAH PARADISE, AKA SIR LOIN STRIP,
AS THE WILD AND WOOLY GENDER-BENDING BEARDED LADIES ON PARADE.
AMELIA AND SARAH LIVE IN OAKLAND WITH THEIR TWO DOGS, UNCLE LEWIS
AND FRANCES.


TONILYN A. SIDECO
 (TONI)  IS A HEART WORKER, SINGER, SONGWRITER,
FILMMAKER, PERFORMING ARTIST AND NATIVE SAN FRANCISCAN. DEDICATED
TO INSPIRING SOCIAL CHANGE, TONI ENJOYS BREAKING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR
IDLENESS THROUGH MUSIC, THEATER, AND FILM, CREATING WITH THE QUEER
WOMEN OF COLOR MEDIA ARTS PROJECT AND IS VERY INVOLVED WITH THE
QUEER WOMEN OF COLOR FILM FESTIVAL.
IN 2009, SHE SHARED HER QUEER PHILIPPINA PRIDE, PLAYING THE  ROLE OF CEE
IN “ TRANSLATIONS,” IN THE NATIONAL QUEER ARTS FESTIVAL.
TONILYN HAS PERFORMED HER ORIGINAL SONGS AT BAY AREA VENUES SUCH AS
COME TOGETHER (BENEFIT FOR RICHMOND’S JANE DOE), SNAPPY HOUR (MAMA
CALIZO’S VOICE FACTORY - RESIDENCY AT THE YERBA BUENA CTR. FOR THE
ARTS), BLISS WEEKEND (NATIONAL GATHERING OF WOMEN OF COLOR AND
THEIR ALLIES), AND AT ALIVE N KICKIN (A FUNKRAISER FOR BINDLESTIFF
STUDIO, S.F.).

STEPHANIE REIF
 (AUTHOR / GLENDA ELLEN)  WAS BORN ON SUNSET
BOULEVARD ONE 4TH OF JULY, SO SHE SEEMED DESTINED FOR DRAMA—
BUT PREFERS COMEDY. 
HER MUSICAL TASTE IS ECCLECTIC, AND OVER THE YEARS HAS INCLUDED SINGING
LEAD FOR DANCE BANDS PLAYING ROCK, R&B, SALSA, AND WORLD BEAT. SHE ALSO LOVES SINGING ETHNIC FOLK SONGS INCLUDING ISRAELI, ARABIC, AND EASTERN EUROPEAN. SHE CAUGHT THE MUSICAL THEATER BUG EARLY IN LIFE.
STEPHANIE IS IN AWE OF THE CAST AND TEAM WHO ARE BRINGING HER VISION

ADRIENNE SELTZER
 (TEMPTRESSA / ASSISTANT DIRECTOR)  IS AN INTERIOR
DESIGNER BASED IN SONOMA COUNTY SINCE 2000. PRIOR TO PERFORMING, AND ASSISTANT DIRECTING, IN THE PRODUCTION OF LEFT of OZ  SHE WORKED IN
BARBADOS ON STAGE IN A PLAY ADAPTATION OF LES MISERABLES AND MIREILLE
(1984-1986). SOME OF THE STAGES SHE HAS DESIGNED INCLUDE THOSE FOR
VOLPONE, EL AHOGADO, AND DON QIXOTE DE LA MANCHA.


HELENA J
 (KAT)  HAD THE PRIVILEGE, AND EXPERIENCE, OF PERFORMING
FOR LIQUID FIRE PRODUCTIONS’ PLAY “LEGACIES UNTIED – LUST UNLEASHED
DIRECTED BY VIXEN NOIR IN 2005.  IN 2006, HELENA DANCED IN SF  PRIDE  
PERFORMING SALSA, TANGO & LATIN DANCING. IN 2008, SHE PERFORMED
A SOLO BURLESQUE FOR “CABARET DE NUDE” IN SAN FRANCISCO.  AND NOW
SHE IS HAPPILY ON STAGE AGAIN WITH US FOR LEFT of OZ.


VAL SCOTT
 (AUNT EMMA)  STARTED SINGING HARMONY WITH HER FIRST CRY –
ALWAYS A THIRD LOWER THAN THE MELODY LINE. SHE HAS PERFORMED AS A SOLO VOCALIST, WITH FRONT ROOM THEATER IN SEATTLE, IN VARIOUS MUSICALS AND
PLAYS, AND HAS PROVIDED SUPPORT VOCALS FOR A RANGE OF STYLES, FROM FOLK
MUSIC TO SHOW TUNES. 


MIKI COOPER
 (OZ DANCER / DANCE CAPTAIN)  IS A DANCER THROUGH AND
THROUGH. SHE DANCES AT WORK, WITH COFFEE, WHILE SHE STUDIES, AND EVEN
ON BART. SHE IS PURSUING STUDY TOWARD A CAREER IN LAW AND PERFORMANCE.
ALICE WOULD LIKE TO THANK HER MOTHER FOR ALWAYS SUPPORTING HER DANCE
HABIT, AND STEPHANIE (DIRECTOR) FOR WELCOMING HER INTO THIS EXTRAORDINARY
GROUP OF PERFORMERS PLAYING IN LEFT of OZ.


MELINDA MOORE
 (OZ DANCER)  IS THRILLED TO BE IN THIS
PRODUCTION OF LEFT of OZ AT THE ASHBY STAGE. ORIGINALLY FROM KANSAS
HERSELF, MELINDA HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN THEATER PRODUCTIONS IN KANSAS
AS WELL AS CALIFORNIA SUCH AS FAME, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, BRIGADOON,
WEST SIDE STORY, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS AND GODSPELL.  
SHE WAS CAST IN THE SECOND PRODUCTION OF THE LION KING AT THE PANTAGES THEATRE IN LOS ANGELES. MELINDA THANKS YOU FOR COMING OUT IN SUPPORT

ANDY MAJOR
 (OZ DANCER)  WAS BORN AND RAISED IN ANCHORAGE, ALASKA.
SHE'S BEEN ACTING ON STAGE AND SCREEN FOR OVER TEN YEARS, AND IS
THANKFUL TO BE DOING WHAT SHE LOVES.  SHE RECENTLY PERFORMED IN

MACBETH AT CONTRA COSTA COLLEGE, AS WELL AS IN FILMS FOR THE
2010 QUEER WOMEN of COLOR MEDIA ARTS PROJECT
AND THE
FRAMELINE  FILM
FESTIVAL.  IF ANDY COULD HAVE ANY SUPER POWER, SHE'D CHOOSE THE ABILITY

REN DAVIS-PHOENIX 
(JO/EMCEE/STAGE MANAGER)  AS A WELL-KNOWN
ACTIVIST, REN STRIVES FOR A SPIRITUALLY FOCUSED, PRIMARILY QUEER,
LEATHER, 12 STEP BASED LIFESTYLE. REN WAS STAGE MANAGER FOR “TEASE
A RAMA’S BURLESQUE TOUR", LGBTQI-AC/SF HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION,
BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR SF PRIDE PARADE, BOARD ASSOC. OF THE FOLSOM
ST FAIR & THE WOMAN’S VENUS PLAYGROUND & CO-FOUNDER/EXEC PRODUCER
OF THE SF LEATHER DYKE FAMILY FUNDRAISING PROJECTS.
CURRENTLY REN IS ON THE TV CREW FOR FABLED ASP, AN AC MEMBER OF SF
CITADEL, SERVING AS ALANON CO-CHAIR/SF LIVING SOBER, AND HAS SERVED
FOR 15 YEARS ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR SF'S LEGENDARY DYKES ON
BIKES

JESSICA MARIE AUSTIN
 (VOCALIST/DANCER)  IS DELIGHTED TO BE PERFORMING AMONGST THIS TALENTED AND DYNAMIC CAST & CREW.  SHE IS LUCKY TO BE A SAN FRANCISCO NATIVE, AND HAS BEEN PERFORMING IN THE BAY AREA SINCE SHE COULD WALK.  DANCING AND SINGING ARE AT THE TOP OF THE LIST OF WHAT MAKES HER THE HAPPIEST IN LIFE. SHE HAS PERFORMED IN MANY A FABULOUS AND PERVERSE ADAPTATION, FROM THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS TO THE NUTCRACKER.  JESSICA HAS BEEN A PROUD MEMBER OF DIAMOND DAGGERS QUEER BURLESQUE TROUPE UNDER THE STAGE NAME ‘TOPSY CURVY ’.
SHE’S HAPPY TO ADD THIS PRODUCTION TO THE LIST.  JESSICA AND HER PARTNER ARE PROUD PARENTS OF THE MOST AMAZING 4 YEAR OLD HUMAN CREATURE ALIVE.
